Product information and safety resources
Updated 27 October 2026
Our buying guides help you identify questions to ask about a product. They do not certify a product, replace its instructions or establish a medical or developmental benefit.
Check the exact model
Before buying or using an item, check its intended use, age and weight limits, assembly and care instructions, and compatibility with your furniture or equipment. Ask us for missing information through our contact page. A product name, material or photograph is not evidence of testing or certification.
Our play gym, play mat, walker, rocking horses, playpens, inflatable toddler travel bed, bed guard and portable high chair are temporarily unavailable for purchase. Please contact us about availability; the general guides do not change that status.
Infant sleep
Australian product-safety guidance recommends placing babies on their backs on a firm, flat and level sleep surface, with the head and face uncovered and loose items removed. Play equipment and toddler travel products must not be assumed suitable for infant sleep.
Read the ACCC’s baby sleep guidance and infant sleep product requirements. These resources do not constitute approval of an item sold by this shop.
Toys and walkers
The ACCC publishes requirements for toys intended for children up to and including 36 months. Whether a specific product meets applicable requirements must be established for that product.
A push-along toy is different from a seated baby walker. The ACCC’s baby walker guidance describes seated walkers and their risks. Do not infer automatic stair protection or earlier walking from a product description.
Personal care
For dental care, see Healthdirect’s information on looking after children’s teeth and ask your child’s dental professional about individual needs. The ACCC also provides bathing and changing guidance. These resources do not establish health benefits for our toothbrushes, mittens or wash bottles.
