Establish which type of product is being discussed before comparing features. A push-along toy and a seated baby walker are different products; instructions for one cannot be applied to the other.
Choosing and using the product
Start with the intended use, the space available and the manufacturer’s instructions. Compare documented features instead of promises about how quickly a child will learn or how a product will change behaviour. Contact the retailer for missing product details.
Information to check
- Obtain the exact model’s intended ages, assembly instructions and permitted conditions of use.
- Ask for documentation of any wheel adjustment or braking feature instead of assuming it is present.
- Do not treat a wheel lock, sensor or marketing demonstration as a guarantee of protection at stairs.
