Floor decals vary in adhesive and surface compatibility. Check the manufacturer’s application and removal guidance for the actual finish in your home.

Choosing and using the product

Start with the intended use, the space available and the manufacturer’s instructions. Compare documented features instead of promises about how quickly a child will learn or how a product will change behaviour. Contact the retailer for missing product details.

Information to check

• Measure the proposed layout and allow space around furniture and doorways.
• Ask whether the decals are suitable for the floor finish and how they should be removed.
• Inspect edges and adhesion before play; a picture of a decal on timber does not establish that it suits every timber finish.

No adhesive can be assumed damage-free on every surface, and a floor decal does not eliminate slipping or tripping risks.
